PSA project for New Hope Family Shelter
We’re looking for students to make creative PSAs for a local non-profit
organization. Several years ago we had help from some incredibly talented
IU students who created video PSAs for us. We’d love to work with students
again to create more videos for our organization.
*Who We Are*: New Hope Family Shelter, Inc. is a local non-profit and the
only family shelter in Bloomington. We provide temporary shelter for
homeless families and help them regain housing.
*Project Description*: We’d love videos telling about our organization and
the various projects we do in the community. Other ideas are tours of our
shelter houses and interviews with staff members and volunteers as well as
updated videos about us. For an example of previous videos we had done,

*When and Where*: New Hope is located at 301 W. 2nd Street. Volunteers
have flexible schedules and this could be a semester long or short-term
project for students wishing to gain experience while volunteering and
giving back to the community.
