Seasonal Position Opening – TinCaps Video Production Assistant


Overall Job Description: Help the Video Production Manager and Assistant Video Production Manager with video responsibilities for games and special events. Assisting with video projects for the stadium video board, TV Broadcast, cable on-demand, and online websites. Projects included Audio/Video features, still graphics, and animations.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with all aspects of the Video Production Department
  • Help creating high quality content for the main stadium video board, the two LED outfield wallboards, and West Gate LED sign. (This includes Video features and graphics.)
  • Help with content, including features and post game highlights, to post to Xfinity On Demand and online (MiLB & TinCaps web sites).
  • Assist with any Pre-production and Post-production responsibilities.
  • Work on the production crew for live game day broadcasts (camera operator, graphics operator, etc.).
  • Work special events that require video staff.
  • Help with any video requirements for special events.
  • Help taking care of video equipment.
  • Assist with any additional Marketing/Media Relations graphic design projects.



  • Hours: 9am-5pm M-F, all home games and special events.
  • Monthly salary of $1,000 (paid bi-weekly)
  • Seasonal Position (Through September 2015)


Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Adobe Premiere and/or Final Cut Pro
  • Adobe After Effects
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Knowledge of video cameras (Camera model used: Cannon XL-2)
  • Experience with Studio Equipment:
  • Mac and PC proficiency
  • Ability to handle a variety of projects
  • Able to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to make deadlines
  • General knowledge of baseball
    • Lights
    • Microphones (XLR cabled &Wireless)
