Fort Wayne TinCaps:

The Fort Wayne TinCaps, Class-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres, have openings for members of the game day video production crew. For the fifth consecutive season, the TinCaps will televise all 70 home games on Xfinity cable TV, remaining the only team in the Midwest League and one of three in all of Minor League Baseball to televise all of its home games. Parkview Field is the site for all home games; it houses a production facility which controls all facets of in-game entertainment, including all audio, video and supporting elements.

What we are looking for:

The TinCaps are looking for a Director for all 70 home games.  We prefer all of our Video Production employees to be at all 70 games to maintain a high-quality broadcast with as much consistency as possible. Candidates should be enthusiastic about sports, have a general understanding of baseball, and have experience of directing. Must be well organized and must have the ability to work well with others.  Our Producer and Director make a lot of the decisions for our TV Broadcast and are viewed as leaders of the production.

The TinCaps are looking for quality videographers who have experience shooting sports. The broadcast consists of five cameras (Canon XL2 is the model used).  There are four stationary camera locations. The 5th camera is hooked up to a wireless pack, roams around the stadium, and operated on shoulder.  Videographers will also operate the instant replay machines.

-Graphics Operator

Responsibilities include updating graphics before the game as well as operating the graphics machine in-game and post-game. Another responsibility will be to play all broadcast videos, including packages and commercials.

-Video Production Assistant

(See separate document for description of this position.)

*Note: The 2013 season starts in early April and runs through early September.  Employees would be encouraged to work most games, but allowed to take a few games off when needed.
