Video Internship – SPRING 2013

Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central Indiana serves more than 225 children in Monroe, Putnam, and Owen counties. For 40 years, we have matched children, ages 6-17, with supportive adult mentors who build friendships and offer encouragement and support to each child.

The Development Department at Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central Indiana is seeking a Video Production Intern for the Spring 2013 semester. The position is unpaid, but may be available for course credit.

Main responsibilities include:
-Collaborate with Special Events and Marketing Coordinator on ideas for innovation and creation of new video materials.
-Generate promotional and informational videos, including a video for Bowl for Kids 2013 which is held in late February / early March.
-Record and edit video clips for final production.
-Manage BBBS South Central video presence online

Internship Qualifications:
-Developed video production skills.
-Creative and innovative thinking.
-Understanding of editing and video software.
-Thorough computer aptitude and knowledge.
*Must have access to video equipment and video editing software.
