Submissions Open for AIAS Foundation Scholarships

The AIAS Foundation would like to announce that submissions for the Randy Pausch Scholarship and Mark Beaumont Scholarship are now open!  These scholarships support students who are pursuing careers specializing in pushing the video game industry forward. I imagine many of your readers are students pursuing a degree in game design or development, and would love to hear about this opportunity.

Right now is the time when students are actively applying for student aid and scholarships for the following 2012-2013 school year and many organizations like the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences are looking for ways to help out the next generation of game makers.  Additionally – you might have seen the news that the ESA Foundation also announced today that their scholarships are open to women and minority students pursuing a degree in video games.  It would be great if you could help spread the word.

For more information about the AIAS Foundation scholarships, qualifications and application forms, please visit http://www.interactive.org/foundation/scholarships.asp. The deadline to apply is June 29, 2012.
