Looking to break into advertising?
CAF’s 2011 Career Day paves the way…

Are you a student majoring in advertising or about to graduate and hoping to break into the advertising field? Are you considering a career change into advertising? Or do you know anyone who fits into any of the above?

Chicago Advertising Federation’s (CAF) 2011 Career Day, taking place February 11 at the Renaissance Hotel in Chicago, will give students and career changers an insider’s look at the advertising industry while providing an opportunity for them to get a leg up finding a job in their chosen field.

The cost for 2011 is ONLY $50 – half the cost of last year’s event! You can’t afford not to attend!

CAF’s Career Day agenda includes panel discussions with top level advertising professionals discussing topics such as ad production, account management, event marketing, how to get hired, research & strategic planning, and more! Attendees will also be able to have their resumes and portfolios reviewed by experts in the field. The Networking Luncheon connects them with their peers and high-level industry professionals. And company tours will be available to provide a first hand look at advertising professionals in action!

The CAF 2011 Career Day keynote is Jeff Hayzlett, Social Media and Marketing Expert and Kodak’s former Chief Marketing Officer. Hayzlett has been hailed a “Celebrity CMO” by Forbes Magazine, and famous for his outspoken appearances on numerous television shows, including Donald Trump’s The Apprentice. Hayzlett is widely recognized as one of the most influential marketers of our time. Hayzlett’s best-selling book The Mirror Test, is focused on marketing, management, selling and customer service techniques companies need to survive and to move ahead of the competition. Not to be missed!
