Costas’ Pre-Super Bowl Show 2012

Last week Department of Telecom alums, Sean Smith and David Jones of Third Street, took advantage of free tickets to see Costas’ Pre-Super Bowl Show.

As quoted from Sean Smith:

Seated from left to right are IU alums:

David T. Jones (Chief Creative Officer, Third Street Attention Agency)

David Meier (Director of Marketing, RNDC Indiana)

Sean Smith (President, Third Street Attention Agency)

Dan O’Sullivan (Regional CFO for Tribune Broadcasting)

The picture was taken moments after the conclusion of a 2 hour live “Town Hall” broadcast of Costas Tonight on the NBC Sports Network, emanating during Super Bowl Week from the Indiana Repertory Theater in downtown Indianapolis.  Guests included former Colts Head Coach Tony Dungy, Patriots owner Bob Kraft, NBC Super Bowl announcers Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth, and a plethora of current and former NFL players.

We found our way onto the stage after the show; Mr. Costas made a surprise appearance and was humorously (and vocally) questioning what we were doing on his set.  As you can see, his “confusion” was clearly captured in the photo.

For the record, Mr. Costas could not have been more gracious and engaging.  A true class act.
